My setup: Retropie 4.7.18, Pixelcade LED running version 4.3.0 on a Rec Room Masters cabinet.

I have had some success tinkering with the "pixelcade-startup.sh" file in the pixelcade/system folder. By editing that file, I've been able to customize the scrolling message upon startup, and change the font and color. Very cool to be able to adjust that- now I've got a startup sequence I like with my scrolling message playing twice, followed by a 20x repeating gif.

My question- In normal operation when I navigate to my RetroPie Setup menu, there's obviously no marquee graphic for each menu option and the Pixelcade defaults to pulling text from the title in the corresponding RetroPie game list to display on the marquee. The text for each menu option will be displayed as scrolling text again in the default green, with the Arial Narrow font. Is there a file in which this default font and color can be changed if desired?

Thanks for any help.

you can change the default font in a file called settings.ini which is located in your pixelcade install folder

as a side note, hope to have some additional features coming to RetroPie that have been recently added to EmuELEC , see here (high scores and retroachievements)
