Hello,
I recently purchased two LED panels P6 64x32 and the Pixelcade board (v2.6).
I have inserted the SD card into the board and connected panels + board to an ATX power supply (5V DC)
My problem is the display of the panels is not fine. The image is not in the correct format and it is not very readable. Some pixels flicker, depending on the displayed image.
Do you have an idea of the cause of the problem?
- The power supply ?
- The panels ? Ref: P6-3528-64X32-16S-HL1.1 - Chipset: TC5020A
- The board ? A reset or an update necessary ?
I hope your experience can guide me. Thanks for your help.
Ced
Hi Ced, it's the panels most likely. HUB75 is not a consistent standard unfortunately and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As such, we do not recommend purchasing third party panels as that is hit or miss.
5V out of the ATX power supply should be fine, we use a 5V, 10A power brick.
Hello,
Ok. Bad news for me....
How to choose the good model of panel ? I wanted to order the complete kit last year on pixelcade website but as I live in France, it was impossible.
So I searched and I found a reseller in France (or a European country, I don't know) for the board but for the P6 panels I ordered on Aliexpress, the reference of the panels seemed to be suitable by comparing with the videos available on your site.
Thanks for your explication.
Ced
we can ship you the panels and have a new shipping supplier with better rates, email me al@pixelcade.org if you want to go that route
