CoinOps and Core Type R Manual Setup

IMPORTANT: You must have a version of CoinOps or Core Type R with a RetroFE version that supports LEDBlinky.

At the time of this writing (Dec ’22), the base install of Core Type R does not support LEDBlinky and Pixelcade out of the box. For Core Type R, you’ll need to also install the latest TITAN theme which you can get from the Core Type R Discord Server on the #🎨type-r-themes🎨 channel. That theme includes a newer version of RetroFE that supports LEDBlinky.

Edit  < Your CoinOps or Core Type R Folder >/settings.conf and add this line at the end:

LEDBlinkyDirectory =

for example: LEDBlinkyDirectory = D:\Arcade\LEDBlinky

Now start CoinOps or Core Type R and ensure the Pixelcade Listener is running prior. Note that there will be a ~20s delay before Pixelcade kicks in after launching.
